Who is involved in Nepali Aawaz?

Chandra Prakash Sharma: Executive Director of Nepali Aawaz. He is one of the pioneering music producers of contemporary Nepali music. As a music producer, he has lifted many singers to the height of stardom. Having set up Moonlight Records Corporation, the international arm of Moonlight Records Pvt. Ltd. Nepal, Chandra Prakash Sharma has now set his sights on the international market.

Gambu Sherpa: External Relation and Marketing Manager of Nepali Aawaz, is an active member of the Nepali community in New York. Currently he is serving as the Secretary of United Sherpa Community of New York.

Kashish Das Shrestha: Editor of Nepali Aawaz, has worked as a journalist for 7 years, including as the Editor for Himalmedia's WAVE magazine and a producer/ host on KATH 97.9FM [IMAGE Channel] and WBKE 89.7 in North Manchester [Indiana, USA]. He is also the founder of Vibes (www.vibes.com.np), an events management/ artist promotion organisation in Kathmandu.

Moonlight Records Corporation: Publisher of Nepali Aawaz, is one of the Nepal's most renowned record labels. It came into prominence in the late 1990s when the Nepali music scene saw enormous growth, and artists finally could take up music as a fulltime profession. The label has been behind the success of many of the biggest stars of contemporary Nepali music. It was set up in 2004 in the United States with an aim of taking Nepali music to the international market.
